About Time!!

Hello friends!!

This is my first blog post. YAY. I had been thinking about starting a blog for some time, yet I was never really committed enough to make it happen until now. I (finally!) got inspired over Columbus Day weekend while I was enjoying a little three day hiatus from school, though, and once I got started I just couldn’t stop. I love writing, and I also love the idea of being able to jot thoughts down and share them with others. So, I truly hope that what I have to say is enjoyable to read, somehow relates and encourages you, or gets you to think about life in a way that you hadn’t before.

You may have noticed the phrase “strong and courageous” on the top of each page of my blog. This is from one of my favorite verses, Deuteronomy 31:6. I chose to feature this phrase in particular because it describes the kind of person we should all be; courageous enough to jump into life trusting that we will be taken care of, and strong enough to stand firm in the things we believe in even when the waves of other people’s opinions come crashing down. So, not only have I placed this portion of the verse on every page, but I will also sign every blog post that I write with it as well. It will serve as a challenge to you - to live each day strongly and courageously. And, of course, dance a little.
